Gym days
Unit 1
he children from Unit 1 do gymnastics every day in the sports hall of the MFA. For playing/gymning in the sports hall, we would like to ask you to provide your child with gym shoes. Without laces and provided with name. Gym shoes remain at school. Gym clothes are not necessary for the toddlers. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, the gym class is given by Miss Manon.
Unit 2, 3, 4 and Newcomers Unit
The lessons in this units are given by or under the supervision of (subject) teachers. In all groups, attention is paid to teamwork activities, technical forms of exercise and sporty and responsible behaviour. Learning to play together and learning that sportsmanship is more important than winning are essential aspects of gym class.
We think it is essential that children get acquainted with the widest possible range of sports and exercise activities. In this sports orientation, the students come into contact with activities such as diving, cycling, rollerblading and tennis. This allows students to experience which sports can be practiced in their area and they can also make a much more conscious choice from the club's offer. Children from these groups must bring gym shorts, shirt and gym shoes (without black soles) on the day they have gym. Please make sure that the gym shoes they put on in gym class are not used during the day while playing. Write name in sneakers and clothes.
For the safety of your child during PE lessons, we ask that you remove jewelery such as necklaces, rings and bracelets at home. It is sometimes difficult to get them off and the jewelry can get lost.
