Mission
Our core values are leading in shaping our education. They are recognizable and tangible in our school for students, parents, teammembers and external partners:
Bloom
The well-being of every child is the basis for us to bloom. Team members of Het Palet together identify the talents and qualities of children and respond to them so that children can get the best out of themselves. We want to work closely with the children's environment to achieve this.
Equivalence
We are all different, but equal. At Het Palet we treat eachother with respect regardless of religion, culture or origin. We ask this of ourselves, our children and their parents. Through diversity we want to strengthen each other and make life more colorful.
Quality
At Het Palet we stand for quality education. Not only the cognitive learningresults are central, but we focus on the broad development of children. We want to continue improving our quality and therefore adopt a learning attitude as a school. We work purposefully and systematically at child, group, unit and school level and utilize each other's talent and expertise.
Link
For us, connecting means making real contact and bringing coherence to children's lives. We focus on relationship with each child so that we can really 'see' them. We reinforce this by also working with parents within the pedagogical triangle and entering into an educational partnership with them. In addition, we want to connect children with the world around us by going out into the outside world with them and bringing it in as well. We use the great opportunities that the connection with our partners in the MFA offers us.
Durability
At Het Palet, our mission is to educate children to become global citizens. A global citizen is in balance with himself and able to connect with others from involvement, both near and far away. We want to provide children with a basis of knowledge, attitude and skills from which they can continue to develop throughout their lives. From this basis they can build a good future and a better world. We think it is important that children learn to take care of themselves, the other and the environment. Skills that we like to develop in our children include; showing respect, increasing empathy and being able to communicate and attune well with people from different backgrounds in a globalized world. The core value of durability is also visible in the way in which we as a school move along with social developments.
