School times
Unit 1: Monday to Thursday: 08.30 - 14.15 (Friday: day off)
Unit 2, 3, 4 and Newcomers Unit: Monday to Friday: 8.30 am - 2.15 pm
We want to limit car traffic around the school for the safety of our children. We therefore ask to come as much as possible on foot or by bicycle. The children of Units 1 and 2 park their bicycles in the shed on the playground on the side of the Oude Provincialeweg. The children of Units 3 and 4 park their bicycles on the site near the old building of Het Palet, entrance Bernhardstraat. The new bicycle shed for Units 3 and 4 has not yet been realized at the start of the 2022-2023 school year. If you do come by car, we ask you to drop off the children at the kiss & ride zone on the service road of the Oude Provincialeweg. It is nice if you avoid the Bernhardstraat as much as possible.
Het Palet has a walk-in area for children. All children of Het Palet come in independently from 8.20 am. This gives them confidence and increases their independence. Parents/carers of young children in Unit 1 may accompany the child to the entrance door of the school. Parents of 4-year-old children who start after the summer holidays or later in the school year are allowed to walk to the group for the first two weeks. The lesson program starts at 8:30 am. During the walk-in, the teacher likes to focus all the attention on the children. You can therefore share important matters with the teacher via Social Schools. Het Palet has an outdoor area for parents and children. After school you are welcome as a parent/carer between 2.15 and 2.30 pm to discuss something with the teacher or to see something with your child that he or she is proud of.
The following entrances are used by the children: Unit 1 and Unit 3: the entrance to the playground on the east side (blue arrow) Unit 2, Unit 4 and the Newcomers Unit: the entrance on the playground on the south side (red arrow)
